hello there!
I am Theresa –
owner of Lilly & Lou
a classic, black & white stationery
and beautiful things studio,
in Skukuza, in the heart of the Kruger National Park.

there are 3 words I take seriously:
classic
because there is comfort and confidence in things that don’t need to change with trends. black and white, considered, and made to last.
romantic
not in a fairytale way, but in how we value connection, feeling, and the quiet beauty found in everyday moments that truly matter.
intentional
choosing paper over screens, presence over noise, and a slower, more honest way of living that feels real and grounded.
the Lilly & Lou way
Lilly & Lou grew slowly and intentionally, shaped by a love for classic design and goods that serve a purpose.
what truly resonates – with paper, with people, and with a quieter way of living that feels honest and real.
it was created to strip things back – to black and white, to what lasts, and to what truly matters.
I believe in the simple life and a slower, more honest way of living.
creating classic goods is my way of encouraging people to slow down, live with intention, and hold on to the things that truly matter – through pieces that are meant to be used, not just admired.
if you’re craving less noise and more meaning, Lilly & Lou offers considered goods that help bring clarity, calm, and intention into everyday routines – from planning to gifting to living at home – without overwhelm.
because the things we choose to live with shape how we live.
choosing well creates space for presence, meaning, and connection.
everything at Lilly & Lou is made with care, intention, and purpose.
nothing rushed. nothing unnecessary.
just thoughtful, well-considered pieces designed to be loved, used, and lived with.
made in Skukuza.
printed, manufactured, and sourced in South Africa wherever possible – with some pieces thoughtfully imported and completed here.
small batches, plastic-free packaging, and careful attention at every step, so each piece arrives ready to be loved and used.
I believe in a simpler way of living –
one that returns to our roots
and gently encourages others to do the same.
the things that truly matter:
loving yourself. the little things. taking a pause. kindness. connection. a slower pace. pure joy. authenticity.
freedom. dreaming.
inner peace. character.
creating memories.
being present. gratitude.
celebrating life and everything in between.
